it's storytime
a few stories about my new job, I will preface by saying I work in a doctor's office:
- dr. tells me about his patient, said patient is bisexual. I ask why the patient feels the need to tell the dr about his sexual preference. well, it's because he's married and his wife doesn't know. so the patient comes in periodically to be tested for STDs.
- there's another dr's office next to the office where I'm sitting. said doctor speaks very loudly, I can hear his entire convo - which goes something like this:
well, I have bad news. looks like you have syphillis. now the good news is you don't have HIV or clamydia.
