Reading GTG: Take Two!
So now that luuuuuuve day is out of the way, wanna give this GTG thing another try ladies?
I'm game for this weekend since I finally don't have anything going on. Even if it's not Snuzzles, possibly a brunch thing at anyone of the fine dining establishments the Reading-ish area has to offer?
Anyone?....Anyone?....Bueller?

Off the Avenue Cafe in West Lawn has looked good for some time now, but it may be a little pricey, I'm not sure as I've never been there!
(Snuzzles is always good for lunch though)

I really have a crappy frame of reference when it comes to eating in the Reading area so the ball is in your guy's court. I still haven't even figured out where West Lawn is. (Geography genius, right here. That's me.)
Any of those places sounds delish. But cheese fries at Snuzzles still has a wonderful allure.
Where is the Pike Cafe?
If you keep heading west on Penn Avenue past West Reading, the next town over is West Lawn. I've never been to the Off the Avenue Cafe, but I've heard of it. I think they're on Restaurant.com. Pike Cafe is on the corner of Pike and Moss Streets in Reading. It's actually not in the best part of town, but that didn't stop it from being packed when we were there. http://www.pikecafe.com/

I know the plan last time was Saturday at 1:00. Is that still okay? I guess it's kind of short notice at this point, but I don't have any other plans.
So we got Snuzzles. 1:00pm. Be there be square.
I need to confirm with DH he doesn't have anything going on because we're still down a car.
And I'm flexible on time if KittyBits needs earlier or later. Just sayin.

Well, if you want, we could still do the carpool thing. You live about two minutes from me, so I could easily swing by if that wouldn't be stalkerish.
I'm only sort of flexible on time. I'm the one who asked for 1:00 so I can take my doggers to the playground. It's our Saturday morning ritual and they are wildmen if we miss a week. So, 1:00 or later is fine for me, but earlier will cause me a week long guilt trip from the pups.
We could repost if you like. I have my preferences set so it's already at the top for me, but I don't know how Kittybits has hers set up. Probably safer to repost so we know she sees it.
I see it, I see it! sorry, work got in the way. I don't think they realise that they're paying me to nest. they keep trying to get me to do work, psha.

oh and if any of you ever get the craving to go green, or healthy (i know, what's that?) there's a new place called Good Eatz Green Cafe that moved into penn ave WR where GNAs used to be. It's piqued my interest, but I haven't been able to stop in yet. Oh and there's a sushi place down the street from it called "go fish" - I heart the WR.

I totally want to try Good Eatz! My mom has been talking it up for awhile now. I stopped in to get her a gift card for her birthday a couple weeks ago and it was packed! Looked like a nice place. We have quite a list of places to try. We might start having to have more GTG
I'm not a sushi eater, though. If there's something else there for me to eat, I would go, but no fishies for Lisa. Sorry!

The Good Eatz place sounds good to. Wanna do that this time and save Snuzzles for next?
I think WR is really picking up it's game. I like it to.
Pookie, I'll let ya know about the car thing. I think DH will be cool with it since it means more alone time with his Xbox on volume "LOUD".
I'm still voting for Snuzzles for tomorrow. My only reasoning for that is that I like the ambiance of Snuzzles in winter. It looks like a big cabin- wood everything with a giant fireplace. But if you ladies would rather do Good Eatz, I won't complain
Just let me know if you want a ride. I'll be around. I'm betting DH will be spending tomorrow playing loud video games too
Snuzzles is the winner! Tummy says cheese fries! And the ambiance will be nice to.
