One of my biggest fears

The deadliest freeway in the country is right here in the IE...and driven daily by my DH and my brother!!

Re: One of my biggest fears

  • Oh, man! We suck. I used to drive the 10 everyday too. But San Bernardino county. Do they mean the 10 past Beaumont? Hmmm...
  • It's I-15 in SB and the 10 in Riverside. I think it's the stretch of road going toward Palm Desert...which is where MIL works! Dang!!!
  • Scary...the statistics do not surprise me though but it is still scary
  • Calimesa starts Riverside county. So anything after Calimesa on the 10 is the -10 riverside county.

Scary to think! I need to slow down and be more careful! I am sure we ALL do!

  • ugh. i do not miss california freeways/traffic/roadrage/assholes.
  • That's definately scary! : /
  • scary, but oh so true!  My cousin's H got into a really bad accident on this freeway (just a lil bit past Cabazon outlets)  about 3 years ago...we almost lost him =(

No one else was involved in the accident, but it was raining & he lost control of his truck..he wasn't even speeding!  He skid on the road  & then his truck flipped on the side of the freeway & rolled several times before coming to a stop. He was in the hospital for 4 months.

It still freaks us all out when ever we drive by that area.
