Hey! I saw your post about the farm in Franklinville... is there a reason why you're switching this year?
For the one in Franklinville, did you get to specify what you wanted, or did you just get what they gave you? TIA!
Re: * Mrs. Kaity Jane *
The one in Franklinville is listed under Newfield I believe, Red Oak Ranch. There was nothing wrong with it just the selection wasnt always great. You get a basket and pick what you want. I had the smallest size basket and could not always fill it since there were only a few things to chose from. However, they are just starting the CSA thing and could be much better now. The other thing I wasnt fond of was once the lady found out my H was a musican she wanted him to always play "gatherings" she had. Which isnt bad but she just pestered him until he said yes. I dont want to make it sound horrible the veggies were good and organic. Also it was a little farther away then I wanted to travel each week.
I want to change to Murth Farms in Pitman/Williamstown. I live in Pitman so it is much closer. Also the selection is more varied. I went to some of the left over sales last year (whatever is left over after the CSA is done for the week) and was really happy with the quality.
I think I answered everything, if you have anything else you would like to know just ask!!
