Sorry one more Las Vegas question
We are getting their at 9:3 (time our plane lands) dh has to something for work that day and this is my first time here with out dd with us. I wanted to book a spa package in case I cant check in at that early. We are staying at the Mirage but I don't know anything about their spa. Is theirs good? Would you recommend a different spa? If I like a spa treatment at a different hotel do you have to be staying at that hotel to go to that spa?
Also what is the best way from the airport to the hotel?
Re: Sorry one more Las Vegas question
I was looking at the Dazzle package on the discount page. We are going in April but just for one night. We check in Thrusday and check out friday and head back home but we have most of the day to walk around friday before out flight.
I just went to the Mirage spa last weekend. I booked a massage/facial package for $150. I've only had 3 massages in my life and only one facial, and I'm not a big spa person, so take my review for what it's worth!
I loved the massage--probably the best I've had. The facial was just ok for me, but I didn't really know what to expect. I got there early and used the gym first and that was great. They have a great facility. The only issue I had was that the spa was real busy. Of course, I went on Valentine's Day, which could explain the crowd. Definitely book early if you want to book one of their special deals. I booked two weeks before my appointment and the only time available was 8am!
They have a small waiting area with tea, juice and water, as well as a nice shower and vanity area. I used the shower between the gym and the massage and used the vanity area after my treatment to fix my hair and makeup. It was nice to have everything right there, plus that portion of the spa was practically empty so I had it to myself!
I have gotten a massage & facial at Paris & Monte Carlo. I love both places, Paris is bigger in comparison to Monte Carlo's spa. But the entire staff at Monte Carlo is really great, they have great customer service, and I had the best relaxing & lounging around day ever! They go a little extra there, like the fresh fruits available, it's already cut, there are juices in the fridge, and you relax and chill as long as you want without feeling crowded at Monte Carlo.
Paris was wonderful too, has very similar amentities and great services. I just liked the layout of Monte Carlo more.
Have fun!!!!!!
Definitely take a cab if you have other plans/things to do that day. The shuttle is extremely slow (i.e. an hour plus to get to your hotel). So not worth the savings IMO.
