Sometimes I feel bad when her posts get 50 some views but no responses, but then I think - get a clue! I mean if I posted time after time and saw lots of views but no responses I think I'd start to worry no one liked me, but she just keeps on posting!

Her not getting it is why I find the hole thing so fascinating. Will she ever get a clue? That makes me feel bad for her in a way. I am a total D&R lurker, they totally do feed into it but I see others do the same. Makes you wonder how many T's are out there among all the nesties.

Personally, I don't feel bad for T-Dogg. I feel bad for her future students. Part of being a teacher is having good social skills and being able to relate to others. Her relentless posts requesting thoughts and prayers for dogs, cats, and internet celebrities coupled with pointless play by play posts with a million views and no comments, reinforce her social cluelessness.
Hmmm, apparently I have strong feelings about this! Probably because I work with some of the most idiotic people I've ever met...and they teach children (I work with some great ones too!).

Part of nest theory is that there are phases of nest infatuation. There is the wow this great, I have to constantly read posts/pw phase (honeymoon?). The nest is your life. I think we have all been there at one point. Then you mellow out and it becomes part of your life not your life. Mainly because you have a life, your DH, children, family, friends (including fellow nesties), and they come first.
I think there is a category of nestie who never grows out of the honeymoon phase, a constant and true pw. This seems to be rooted in socialization issues, a lack of friends in IRL or a surrogate/replacement for friends IRL (because it is there 24/7). I think there may also be maturity issues in play too (lack of life experiences). When you are younger/less mature there is more drama (and need for T&P for everything) in your perspective because you haven't experienced or can't comprehend anyting truly bad.
What would you call this type of nestie?
This should not be confused with the mega (or alpha?) nestie, who does not have the socialization issues.
This whole post cracked me up. I think we all know my thoughts on T. If she was my child teacher I'd request they be moved. I can't imagine someone like her teaching children. The T&P are completely ridiculous . . isn't she due for a kidney stone soon? Yep I'll be joining you girls in hell as well.
LOL this is cracking me up. The D&R is my other home and it does get its fair share of people posting everything they do.
I've had my fair share of disagreements with her because I think a lot of it is being young (or at least I hope!). It does concern me about the teacher thing. I go back and forth betweeen being annoyed or feeling bad for her. I think she's one of those that just always wants to feel accepted by everyone.
