I feel guilty about calling in sick
Well, I didn't call in sick. More like, I said I needed a mental health day. Because that's the truth.
I feel guilty now. I hate that. If my boss were a jerk, I wouldn't feel guilty. But he's not. And I feel bad.
And I'm friggin overthinking things.

Ditto. Mental health days are just as legit as physical sick days....dont feel guilty they are necessary!
You definitely have a cool boss if you can say you need a mental health day and he's fine with it - there's no reason to feel guilty!
I bet he's not cool with it, but he won't say anything about it. He'll just take it. Adds to my guilt.
