Great dog needs a home, help

My sister found this chihuahua and she is trying to find a great home for him! She took him to the vet and he is about 6-7 years old, is not spayed and he needs a good dental cleaning. He has a bit of a trouble knee but he does not require surgery. He is a very sweet, cuddly guy. If anyone is interested or if you know someone who is, please let me know. We've left messages at a few rescues but haven't gotten a response. TIA!!

Mine too. I'm lucky I even got mine (sig).
He is a total lovebug too, and he loves to dance on his hind legs. I really hope we find him a good home.
What kind of dog is that in your sig? He is so adorable.
I had a chihuahua when I lived in MN and MH hated him.
I will put the word out and see if anyone is looking for a dog.
What a cutie!
My SIL volunteers for a rescue group in Anaheim Hills. Try contacting Ashley (ph inside website) to see if she can help find him a foster home. Tell her Angie's SIL sent you.

Hate to be the party pooper... but if she found him, did she turn him in to the shelter? Technically found dogs need to be turned in to the local shelter for proper documentation and a chance for owners to try and find them. When they're turned in you have the opportunity to place a "first hold" on the dog, at which time if the owner does not reunite with the dog, you'll be the first person able to adopt it at which point you can place it in a home yourself (after it's received a spay/neuter, shots, microchip, etc).
Most rescue volunteers who find animals have to go through this same process. I've done it a few times.
