We had a nice weekend
I survived my Friday's lab without incident and
BFF's bridal shower was a huge success! So much fun - (yes, even the guys had fun- by the end of the night we turned it into a huge dance hall party- Ya mon!) Anyway, glad that's over!
Sunday- hubs and I stayed in and caught up on our DVR'd House episodes and I did a little homework. Got to bed nice and early but I'm still sleepy this morning. ZZZzzzzz
I have to hustle this week to make sure I have everything done at work and for school a week in advance because my vacay is in 7 days. W00t!
I had a good weekend.?
Friday night I got drunk at home by myself and then read and played on the internet all night.
Saturday...gtg and then worked on my writing.
Sunday...spent the day in Riverside celebrating my grandma's 88th birthday.
This week, I just have my class and some other minor things. Nothing exciting. ?
Friday: TV catch-up
Saturday: gym, GTG, party time in downtown Santa Ana (thumbs up to Jason's, meh on the Crosby)
Sunday: gym, church, lunch w/ in-laws, disappointing RW dinner at Simply Fondue in SJC (the food was great -- other stuff was not)
If one defines "fun" and "exciting" as traveling to Jacksonville and Oklahoma for work, then this week will be great for me!
Weekend was good.
Friday night got back from San Diego and caught up on DVR stuff.
Saturday ran, GTG, then out to look at paint colors.
Sunday fun with macro photography, rug and couch shopping and other errands, and then home to watch the oscars.
This week the only excitement is our walk through on Thursday -- otherwise, just catching up on work.

Weekend was uneventful, but nice. Relaxed, cleaned up the house, car shopped, got sick... and then got better.

Friday - went out to dinner and crashed early
Saturday - GTG then had a few of H's friends over and got to spend time with H's best man's fiance. It was the second time I've hung out with her and she was actually nicer than I expected (especially for someone whos marrying the BM). I offered to help her with her invitations and wedding stationary since I love doing that stuff so I'm excited.
Sunday - Lounged, caught up on google reader and DVR, BBQ'd and burnt the sweet potato fries I was so looking forward to eating
Nothing exciting going on this week other than our 6 month anniversary and finally getting our butts out to check out some flooring options.
Happy Monday... grumble, grumble
Weekend was good - did some baking, watched scary movies, GTG Saturday, and yummy brunch on Sunday. Oh and Claire tried to kill me with 24SET by the crazy German lady that wanted to be Latina.
I work late tonight, have a focus group tomorrow, and IF H is being nice, I might take him to see The Goonies at the 21+ Theatre on Wednesday. ONLY if H is being nice to me though.

Is it really Monday already??
The weekend was nice. Other than the gtg on Saturday, I mostly lazed around the house cooking, drinking wine, reading and watching tv.
This week is filled with boring work. On Wednesday however, I'm going to head down to San Diego to have dinner with my brother. He's there for business and we haven't seen each other in more than 2 years so I'm stoked.
I'm such a stalker, I love reading everyone's responses.
Gtg was fun. ?
Restaurant week dinner with mboc and mrmboc and friend was REALLY good! ?I will blog tonight hopefully.
DH is stuck in the Philippines and I'm upset.
I quit smoking.?
Saturday was packed for me.
(1) Went to get Big Red serviced.
(2) Had lunch with Mr. Monkey's family.
(3) Walked around a mall while waiting for Big Red.
(4) Got a mani-pedi.
(5) Went to Mr. Monkey's company's black-tie event.
Sunday was more mundane.
(1) Did laundry.
(2) Bought a bunch of $5 footlongs from Subway.
(3) Ate said footlongs throughout the day.
(4) Watched recorded TV.
(5) Played on the Internet.
This will be a tough work week. (Yeah, I know I say that every week.) But then we leave for a weekend getaway to Victoria, BC.?
'twas a slow weekend.
my client backed out of our meeting at the 11th hour on saturday. ?boo. ?the rest of the day was spent cleaning and organizing with the hub - which is never a good time. ?
yesterday was more of the same, but with lunch at versailles in MB with my folks squeezed in. ??
In contrast, when I suggested this weekend that we clean a little, Mr. Monkey said, "Why bother? If someone comes to rob us right now, he'll be so overwhelmed by all our stuff that he'll just turn around and go rob somebody else's place."
Weekend was uneventful aside from the GTG, although I have floor in my master bath remodel !!
Ridiculously excited about this week. FIL is coming on Friday and that means the time until I have my house back is coming soon!!!

Saturday--GTG and 24 marathon
Sunday--clearing out DVR and being lazy
Friday - DVR catch-up, drinks with the hubs
Saturday - GTG, then H and I got into a little bit of a skirmish as he told me he was doing WAY more of the housework and basically picking up behind me. Now, he has an OCD-like obsession with cleanliness, but he has been doing way more laundry in general. I felt bad, we made up, and watched The Dark Knight.
Sunday - H left town to go to Oregon for the week. Still feeling guilty, I did a ton of laundry, organized the pantry, threw out some 2-week-old cake, and started reading Eclipse
On the bright side, our presentation this morning was stellar!
Now, I can coast for the next couple weeks until finals.
