Black Sand buckets?
Ok, so I've been tasked with "decorations" for my BIL's 40th birthday party next month. He is a big time beach volleyball player and the surprise party is at Beaches in Manhattan Beach. I came up with the idea of doing sand buckets with something in them (not sure 100% yet) as the centerpieces. Only problem is I cannot seem to find black sand buckets. Any ideas??

What is the difference between a regular bucket and a "sand bucket"?
Seems like you could get a black bucket anywhere.?

WeeMo ... there really isn't except when I search for bucket I'm getting the industrial buckets, not sand type buckets. I want them more sand bucket size/shape.
Yes, I may have to spray paint the galvanized steel ones. I can find plastic sand buckets in every other color, just not black.
Haven't tried ebay yet ... Oriental Trading is a no go ... already looked.
You could just get multi colored ones, write 40 on them in black...put in little flags that say 40 in the bucket....
Thanks 5dogs ... wondered how well that stuff worked. If all else fails I'll spray paint, was just trying to avoid that step if I could.
I've used it on those big ugly orange Home Depot buckets with lids for a fundraiser, it took two quick coats but it worked nicely without having to sand/prime/finish. I would imagine with Easter/spring coming up, it'd just be that much easier to buy the $1 primary colored buckets and paint them than it would be to potentially special order them from a website.
