Put an offer in on a house....
...but our bid was rejected.
They countered at only 5k below asking, and that just wasn't good enough for us. I actually felt a little insulted, especially since we had offered right at the comps in the neighborhood. We decided not to counter back. Looks like we won't be neighbors, Lesli. Keep an eye out for me though - that's still one of our target neighborhoods.
The search continues....
Re: Put an offer in on a house....
Sorry! That was a nice house. How many days has it been on the market?
My inner real estate agent likes these -
I love the garage on this one.
This is in the boro (did you look at this one?)
This one has four bedrooms and curb appeal.
Sorry...about that! That does really stink...that happened to us too before we found this place. It will all work out...keep searching.
I'm a little bummed, but also a little relieved. Can't say I was excited to have to carry two mortgages.
Denise, the house was only on the market a little over a week....so maybe we'll try again if it sits awhile. Apparently, the people that lived there have several houses already and can wait until they get the price they want.
