Of a grown man driving a VW Jetta?
Re: WDYT
1 of my bridesmen drives one.
It's a little feminine, IMO, but not in a negative way.
Why - does your hub want a Jetta?
I personally don't see anything wrong with it.
But I busted out laughing when I read your post. This question reminds me of an incident with two of my guy friends, Metro and Macho, a few years ago. Both of them drove black VW Jettas. One day some morning dj announced that the Jetta had been ranked #1 favorite car among gay men. This sent Metro into a complete tizzy, as he had already endured much teasing from the rest of the office about his metrosexual ways. He was worried his Jetta would add more fuel to rumors. Metro ended up trading in his Jetta within two weeks because of the survey results! Macho couldn't care less and kept on driving his Jetta.
Yeah, they have a new diesel that gets gnarly gas mileage.
H has a sedan (which is on the crapper)
I have a 2-door Chevy Cavalier (not on the crapper)
We have a super tight budget right now, and it looks like H is going to need a new car before I do... but we also need to get me a "mommy mobile." ?So I will get a nice shiny sedan/suv (TBD) and H will be stuck driving my Chevy Cavalier for awhile. ?He hates it, but is willing to take one for the team.
So, that was my long, round about way of saying, I think it's fine. ?:-)?

car review site for moms.
I think of DH.
He got one as a graduation present. It's dark green, so it doesn't seem as feminine as the white or silver ones.
Apk did you guys decide on a car?
Kind of. We'll either get a used Mazda CX-9 (7-passenger SUV) or a used Honda Accord. We will eventually get both cars, it's just deciding which one we want first.
I don't think of anything with the new body style. But the old body style is girly to me. DH thinks all Jettas are girly. But he still likes to drive my 2008 Jetta.
GTIs are manly compared to Jettas.
DH said that him and his friends usually associate Jetta's with hot girls.
I don't necessarily agree, but I usually think of teen girls driving Jetta's - JMO.
