Just curious--what kind of camera do you have? The quality of the pics of Harper in your blog are great!

do you know if the flash came with the camera or did you have to buy it seperate?
I know it is kinda big, but I would love a high quality camera for Europe and I figure it is a good investment since we plan to do a lot of traveling for the next few years. Then, of course, we will hopefully have kiddies, which I will want to take lots of pics of!
Butting In - Hi girls! Krista, if you dont want to spend the money for an SLR I have a Canon ultra-zoom that takes great pics. It is still bigger than a regular digital, but b/c of the zoom features it has to be. It has some qualities of an SLR, and it's supposed to be great for hobby photographers/family use.
This is the newer version of what I have. I got mine last Christmas from Costco.com for $300 with a memory card.

I'm butting in too. I have the same camera as Shari and love it. It did come with a flash. You can upgrade the flash and the lens if you want. We haven't yet and I'm not sure if we will or not. It is a nice camera and I think worth the money. My photographer actually recommended it to us. HTH
thanks for the help- i know nothing about camaras, and my husband actually bought it. i am not sure that we have ordered any special parts either. i think it is a great camera....but i was trying to talk my husband out of buying it for a week! it was hard for my to justify this much for a camera!
