Flamefree Confessions
MH believes in only buying American cars. I have a Toyota (which he hated me buying at the time, but we were only dating and it was my money and I wanted it so I bought it). When we have a baby I will trade in my car and get an SUV. MH wants to get an American SUV and I told him the only one I am willing to drive is a Cadillac. He rolled his eyes and walked away.

I don't get the debate on this sometimes. MH and I both have "foreign" cars but they were both built right here in the US. When I had an American car (a Buick) it was built in Canada. For me I'm going to buy a reliable car with a good reputation. Has YH said why he's so for buying only American cars?
He is in a Union, it's like mandatory! LOL
Oh I see! But it would only matter what car he drives to work in right? And don't the "foreign" car makers have union workers too?
I've debated this w/ him too many times.
My confession is I can't stand when my mom calls me at work. She always wants to talk for hours and will call my work phone. I don't have caller ID so it's not like I can avoid her calls and then when she asks if I'm busy and I say yes she'll start talking about something else.
Yet when I call her at work (she's a nurse at a hospital) the second she has to get off the phone she basically hangs up on me.
I am annoyed at my BIL. He works part time at my job (I got him the job) since he got laid off at his other job.
My coworker left last week and usually he doesn't work on Fridays but I have been alone most of the week so I asked if he could come in. He always talks about how he wants more hours because he needs the money so I thought he would appreciate it. So I bought him coffee on Wednesday, not a big deal. Today I was going to get my lunch and asked if he wanted anything, he wanted a sandwich and chips and a drink. I got it for him and he didn't thank me or give me any money. I feel like he thinks i "owe" him for helping me out. He is getting paid!! I was trying to do him a favor, yea it is nice having help, but him and my sister need the money! I don't mind buying lunch or coffee or whatever once in a while, but there was no thank you and he just assumed I was going to pay! MH and I don't have tons of money either.
Sorry that turned into more of a vent, he has done stuff like this to my dad in the past so I think I am alittle bitter because of that. My dad will take us out to eat and he will order wine and then the most expensive thing on the menu, I would never do that if someone else was paying!
I'm embarrassed by 3/4 of my family. Some of them behave very inappropriately and embrace the "redneck" attitude a little too much.
