Mini sister vent
So my oldest sister is getting married this year. I'm super excited for her, except she can't figure out what she wants.
The H and I scheduled a vacation for November to Barbados. She hasn't picked a date but wants to get married in September or October. OK no problem. She wants to get married in Vermont of Boston (where she lives), also no problem. Well she emails me the other day saying not to book our trip to Barbados because now she wants to have a destination wedding. Again no problem, but come on and pick something already! At least pick a concrete date!
I told her no matter what that we would be there, but she might want to pick something concrete soon since she's running out of time. She's always been awful at making choices, and I keep trying to explain to her how things book up fast, including destination spots. She keeps telling me she is fine. She hasn't even looked at reception sites for either type of wedding. OK vent over.
Re: Mini sister vent
We're only young once, so we are getting in as much travel as we can. Also with the economy in the toilet travel is super cheap!
We also decided that after the five weddings one of us is in each of them if not both of us, that we deserved a vacation to do nothing but worry about ourselves. It's a super selfish vacation and we can't wait. We are going to an all inclusive couples resort where we will be waited on hand and foot!
