A few days ago I had my 1st u/s. I was so excited, but also apprehensive. I don't think I slept much the night before. I was just praying that everything would be alright, and thankfully, it did! He/she was waving his/her little hands, and his/her feet were moving back and forth! It was so exciting, and was so relieve to see her... ehhh... his little heart beating. We didn't hear the hb, but my dr reassured me that it was too early, but I was just happy to see him... her moving. He/she looked like he/she was dancing! I have no rhythm, so he... ahh... she must have gotten that from my DH's side of the family.![]()
The pics didn't scan that well, but here they are:
Re: He/she was dancing!
So happy for you, J!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Yeah... I thought she would be just lying there still, but it was amazing to see him move. I wish I could have watched him longer.
It takes too long to write she and he, so I'll just use both pronouns.
I always used "it". By the time of my big u/s I was so tired of saying "it". I just couldn't wait to say she or he.
I was saying "it" at first, too, but then I felt bad after a while.
That is so exciting!!! I'm so happy for you!!
I SOBBED during my first U/S with Sarah...I was so thrilled to see that little h/b! I had a missed m/c 2 years earlier...discovered at the 10 week u/s...so I was a nervous wreck going in for this first one...
Yup, I was sobbing, too. Couldn't help it.
Thanks, Amy!
