**Blairsgirl**

Re: **Blairsgirl**

  • It was great! I couldn't really do much so I felt kind of bad for Blair but it was a much needed break for the two of us.  The weather was perfect every day.  I wore sunblock everyday and was even in the shade for half the day and I have a crazy dark tan.  That's how hot it was! The hotel was awesome and the people there couldn't have been nicer.  We had to stop at ILs on our way home to pick up some things that were delivered to their house while we were away.  And MIL right away started in on this date and that date for stuff.  I felt like saying lady, I haven't even looked at a calendar all week and you are pressuring us for an answer.  I know mh was annoyed too and as soon as we got in the car he said ignore her and put it out of your mind.  So we both did.  I know it sounds mean, but it's just annoying.

We talked about finding out the sexes on Wed and now we are both on the fence.  I think it would be fun to be surprised.  I got annoyed when his Mom said we wouldn't be able to "plan" for their arrival.  How wouldn't we be able to plan? So things are gender neutral.  That's not planning? And I think part of us is to the point where we are being slightly spiteful too.  Again, I know not great.

Louie did great.  My Aunt said he didn't cry.  Loved playing with the kids.  Wasn't looking for me or moping around.  My brother picked us up from the airport and brought him.  You should have seen him when he saw me.  He was going ballistic.  Blair was laughing so hard and he even was going crazy over Blair (He hadn't seen Blair in 2 weeks!).  He was exhausted when we got home last night.  He's still tired today.  And he has been cuddling with me.  It's so cute!

  • I am so glad to hear that you were able to go and most importantly have a good time.  I figured since I didn't see you around last week, that you went.

So, it sounds like you are going to be surprised then, huh?  Fun!  And I totally agree that you can still plan and prepare.  How silly of her to say that you can't...there are so many people that don't find out the gender of their baby beforehand.

I can imagine Louie freaking out when he saw you guys...it is the best feeling ever just knowing how much he loves you and missed you, isn't it?

  • Definitely the best feeling! :)
