F/U - Thoughts, prayers, vibes...
About a week and a half ago, I asked for any thoughts/prayers/good vibes that you could spare to be sent our way as we spent two days interviewing with various churches to figure out where DH would be spending his internship year (which is next year for us, and essentially the pastor's year-long version of student teaching). We had some extra stressors in this situation with specific requirements that were being placed on us, and were trying to keep my job with wherever he was sent...
Long story short, we found out today that we'll be moving to Virginia for the year!!! This was a site we both really liked, although MUCH bigger than we're used to (they have approximately 1k members - which will be a good thing to experience something new). Anyway, we're really excited. Just wanted to say THANKS for all the thoughts/prayers/vibes - they evidently worked!

We're planning on Leesburg area... it'll be about halfway between DH's church and my school where I teach.

Yay! For whatever reason, after talking this morning I felt like it was going to be Leesburg! I'm glad you can stay at Glade...and Leesburg will be a great place to live!

Allie - we've been hearing really great things about Leesburg, and I'm already really excited to move there. We're both born and raised south-central Pennsylvanians, so it'll be fun to move to an area that sounds so fantastic. And yes, I've already heard about the shopping - as has DH, who is dreading what will happen to our checking account over the span of the year.
Stacey and Megan - you are MORE than welcome to come visit us. We only know one couple in Leesburg, and his cousin and fiancee (Laura) are only about 20ish minutes away, but other than that... no family nearby, no close friends, nada. We'll be moving towards the end of the summer... so perhaps a Christmas-gift-shopping day in the fall (or just a "let's shop for ourselves!" day... or both.
).

Leesburg is great! I can understand the concern about your checking account and the shopping there...thankfully since we've been up in northern VA, I've behaved
I'd love to join in on a shopping trip whenever you ladies go.
Also, I know it's sort of random, but let me know if you need help moving. I know how much work it is to move, and the more hands, the better.
