Ok, first I'll admit, it's been almost two years since I've been to the dentist, I just got busy after the move and hadn't sat down and found one here in RI and then all of a sudden it's been a year and a half since the move. Well today I called my insurance company to find one in my area, I was able to find one right near my house, lucky me they had a someone cancle so they'll see me Friday morning, thing is I'm 29 and I've never had a cavity, or anything for that matter and now I've convinced myself that I have one and I'm all freaked out that the new dentist is going to scold me for not coming in sooner, the thought of any work on my teeth really freaks me out, i'm such a baby. On a positive, if I like the new dentist they take children and said I can schedule apointments for the kids too.
I also scheduled with a new GYNO, I'm not looking forward to that either, but that's not until the end of the month. I've been such a slacker on this stuff since the move.
Re: Dentist Appt.
Good luck at the new dentist and gyno! I know how you feel about changing dentists and being nervous he'll scold you for not going in so long. I went about a year and a half without going because I was nervous about finding a new dentist. But it was much easier then I thought and he didn't even scold me!
You can't undo the past so there's not use in him scolding you!
