Seamstress help?

I have a dress that I need to take in.  It's pretty similar to this - image
I need to take the under dress in at the bust, without fussing with the overlay part - is this possible?  How do I deal with the bulk that will be left over?  Or am I just screwed and should just tape it to my bra so it doesn't fall down?  I'm willing to pay for assistance or for the work if anyone knows how to do it.  Thanks!

  • Go to Susan Christine in Kennedy 412-771-9779. She is awesome and cheap.

  • ditto susan christine! I got my prom dress from her :o)
  • Yeah, I used her for my wedding dress. She's good. I just spent $30 on this dress in the first place, and am feeling super cheap on having to get it fixed.  I've got a few feelers out, but she's so close to my work, she'll be my fall back.  Thanks!!
