So I just saw this exchange on my SIL's FB wall:

SIL: This makes 3 straight days I have been on my hands and knees. I'm really getting exhausted!
MIL: Tell H that's not the way to make babies lol
SIL: Well thanks now mom, I guess our secret is out lol
Aunt: Does that mean there's another one on the way or you're working on it?
SIL: Practice makes perfect lol

Is it irrational of me to say I will seriously cut a bitch if she is trying to get pregnant again? I know I shouldn't care but the thing is that she knows that we've been trying to get pregnant and she's the type of person that would do something like this just to spite us. Plus she also knows that her cousin is trying to get pregnant (she was pregnant but had a m/c back in the winter). SIL is a very competitive person (she moved up her wedding so that she could get married before us, DH got a car...she had to get a car, we bought a house, she had to buy a house). She is the type of person that will be pregnant right away after starting to try too. Grrr!

Oh, by the way, she was on her hands and knees because they were working on laying tile in their kitchen. Haha, thought I should add that little piece of info!

I basically have cut her out of my life...I don't interact with her when we have to be around one another. I'm not even friends with her on FB but for some reason the exchange popped up on my account....I guess because I'm friends with MIL and the aunt.

I do think it's a bit irrational. Is she not allowed to get pregnant just because you and her cousin haven't gotten pregnant yet? I can understand that you'd be upset but the way you worded it makes it sound like she should put her life plans on hold until you have a baby.

Spiteful or not, your SIL definitely sounds like she's TTC. At least you can now prepare yourself for the announcment.

@LooneyLife I know it sounds like that...I don't expect her to put her plans on hold because of us. She did say that she wasn't having another baby for a while but maybe her plans changed. I haven't mastered the whole "others are going to get pregnant before we do" thing yet because I'm still a little hopeful it will happen for us in the next few cycles naturally before we go into testing. I just had this whole idea in my head that we'd be the next in DH's family with a baby. Guess I need to let go of that dream.
