Manic Monday
First, Happy Birthday Dee!
How was everyone's weekend?
I deep cleaned on Saturday.. my mom even came down to help me. It felt so good to get a lot of that done. Now it's just the struggle to keep it that way! Yesterday, we went out to breakfast & ran a few errands. I did some random projects around the house. That's about it!
My coworker that left.. (the one who had the white trash bash) even though she sometimes drove me crazy, she was really the only person here I could talk to (other than small talk). She knew all about our infertility struggles, she was one of two people here that knew about my pregnancy and all the issues with that. I'm really sad that she's gone! [:(]

I woke up annoyed this morning. H wakes me up to say goodbye before he heads to work and then I go back to sleep. He woke me up like usual, said bye and left. He didn't think to say happy birthday!? He texted me later saying hi so I sent back hi and said "There's nothing else you want to say to me today?" His defense was he said it to me all weekend (which he didn't).
I feel like a whiny b-tch but it bugged me.
Sorry your co-worker left, Ky. That is tough not having her to confide in or escape to when you need it.

I had a good weekend. We moved into our house on Friday so basically we did a lot of unpacking and running errands. Still a long way from having everything done, but we're getting there!

DH and I went hiking on Saturday, followed by a takeout pizza (voted CVille's best!) to the cidery where we did a cider tasting and got a bottle as we picnicked with our pizza. It was great!
Sunday we went to church and had lunch with my old roommate who was in town. Then a lot of Netflixing Sunday evening while DH made some kick@$$ banana bread cupcakes
Weekend ... Friday H and I went out to celebrate my promotion. I drank a little too much and so did H and we had to call a cab. Went to go pick up our car on Saturday morning and it was towed! UGH. Saturday we had dinner with another couple and she made it awkward by calling our server an asshole, so that was weird. Sunday I did nothing and went to the mall. Today, H left for the week again and he'll be back Thursday.
I have been super busy this past weekend! We had our annual fish fry at our church this past weekend (it was the 69th annual fish fry!). Thursday night, I went over there and helped bread 1280 pounds of fish! When I got home, I baked brownies and 8 dozen snickerdoodles to take over there to use as desserts!
Friday - I had taken the day off work to help out. I got over to the church around 9am, an didn't leave until about 7:30pm. Only reason I left then was DH came to eat dinner with me.
Saturday - I was back at the church at 9am, and I didn't leave until 10:30pm. It was a blast...I absolutely love it, but it is definitely exhausting!!!
Sunday - I did manage to get up and go to church with my parents. I came home and folded some clothes. SIL saw a patio set at a garage sale, so we got that as well. That's my next project - I need to sand the furniture (has some rust on it) and then I'm going to spray paint it.
TTC since June 2012
My parents got in town Thursday evening. From there we went to dinner and wandered one of the casinos.
Friday we did the Budweiser brewery tour. DH and I have done it before (the good paid tour, not the free one where you can't hear anything) and it was just as good as last time.
Saturday we hit the zoo and several museums. Then we all went to dinner with DHs family. My dad and his dad are two peas in a pod and its always entertaining to see them together.
Sunday was our niece and nephews joint birthday party (they just turned 4 and 6) which was a lot of fun. Then we all went to dinner at a local pizza place.
They headed back home yesterday morning. Overall they said they had a great trip. Absolutely loved our new house and especially loved the puppy
Everyone was busy this weekend!
I waited around half the day Saturday for a new work camera to get shipped to me. Then worked 10 hours after it came in.
Sunday I rested all day. I needed it.
