Re: QOTD 8/6

  • Mostly Country, but I switch to the pop stations.  I have no idea who sings what for the pop songs, but I like them haha.

H's music tastes are ALL OVER THE PLACE, from country to blue grass to gansta rap to hard core rock.... I have no idea what he will have on the radio when we get into his car.

  • I listen to a little bit of everything. But lately, I've been into soutern rock, sould and r&b. If H knew half of the pandora stations I listen to, he would be shocked.

H is a classic rock guy. It is fun to go on road trips with him, we always end up on a classic rock station and he knows like every song! I know maybe 25% of them.

  • I listen to a large variety of music.  I listen to just about everything but country.  I'll listen to early 90s country, but the rest of it just annoys me.
  • I listen to a wide variety too...pretty much anything but country. DH and I even banned the entire genre from our wedding! We figured that we are forced to listen to it at everyone else's wedding, so the country-lovers can suck it up and live without it at our wedding! We had a few people request country, but the DJ held firm and politely told them that he would not play it (thank you, DJ!).

I mostly like pop/rock/alternative. Dave Matthews Band is my favorite!

  • Mostly country. I usually listen to Amp (top 40) in the morning on my way to work, & then I keep country pandora up at work all day and it depends on what I'm feeling for my night commute. A lot of times it's nothing since I usually call friends & family home in IA on my drive home since its the only time that works with the 2 hr difference.

  • Like most of the others so far...I listen to just about anything except country. I like some old school country like Garth Brooks, but very, very few modern country things.
My favorites are folksy/bluegrass stuff. My favorites right now are Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Passenger, etc. They're all foreign...haha.

Me too!  I listen to a pretty wide variety, but country is not in that mix.  I don't really listen to current music.  I know some of it, but I couldn't tell you any artists.  I have Sirius and mostly listen to 90s on 9, Pop2K and the Pulse.  More the first 2 though.

H listens to 90s alternative rock and gangster rap (think WuTang Clan).  More of the gangster rock than 90s alternative.  At work he listens to the LiteFM type stuff.  H knows more pop than I do :)

  • I listen to mostly 80s rock, but I do like some of the pop songs. I'm not a country fan, but I do like some of the older songs (mostly from the 90s). H has been listening to Irish CDs lately, so I get some of that mixed in when we take his car.
