  • I'd love to be a flapper in the 20's. It was a bold time to be a lady.

  • I just wish I could be at home all day in a pretty dress vacuuming and having babies....but really that would have been awesome. having to work all day is crap!

  • I voted 1950's, or 1960's would've been good too. More simpler times, and where you didn't need 2 incomes in order to pay bills.

  • I know this is going to be a UO, but I would have loved to live in a time where women stayed home to raise their families and keep their homes.  I appreciate what women have fought for, but I probably was born in the wrong decade.

Orrrrr, maybe I should have married someone who also felt that way, but I didn't.

@ILoveRedVino I didn't see your response when I posted but I feel the exact same way!
  • I picked the 1980s. There's nothing better than 80s music!

  • I picked the 80s.  I was 5 in 1980 and, therefore 14 in 1989.  I think the 80s would have been super fun if I had been a little bit older.  I could have afforded way better hairspray to assist with back-combing.

  • 1900s. Victorian era has always fascinated me. The fashions, the new-fangled cars, the beginning of a brand new century ripe with possibilities unfolding. Motion pictures just coming out, faster trans-Atlantic ships, being on the cusp of flight.

And really, the most important of all of those is the fashion, lol.

  • The 60's... I would have made a damn good hippie.  I bet the weed... I mean, the clothes... were great.

  • I picked the 1920s because of all the new inventions and the perceived prosperity (which unfortunately led to the depression). There are a lot of aspects I think I would have enjoyed. Although the Prohibition laws might have been an issue. My ideal time though would be to go back to the Antebellum Civil War years. I envision myself as a Southern Belle, but I also could see myself favoring abolition.

  • I picked the 50's....On TV they make it look like a better time :)

  • I can't pick! They all have their upsides and downsides!
