Why hello dearest friends

I have no power of quotation today so you are back to boring titles.  Sorry

Its Wednesday, H decided its a good day for interval training. I tired.  Oh and its my loooooooooooong day at work. I think I need CAFFEINE!

I hope everyone gets their little dose of energy this morning.  Enjoy the boards.  Echo what do you think of the phone view?  I remember you having issues on your phone but I think its 100% better in that respect.

Re: Why hello dearest friends

  • Hellooooooooooooo.
Today is my day off. And my last one too, until next Thursday! I'm working this weekend at my second job to get back in the swing of it.
I'm going up to the school to buy books today. There's things that I can only get at the bookstore, and only 1 book I don't need to buy there, but I might as well. It's priced pretty good.

Aggie - Hope you have a good day! Interval training sounds awful. hah!

  • Morning Gals! It has been a terrible day here already. My boss called this morning to belittle (spelling) me. I must be emotional today because I pretty much was crying. Yuck! He doesn't mean to be a big jerk but he feels that everyone should be able to pick up a book and figure stuff out. He even went so far to say that certainly I had to do this in college. I felt like screaming and yelling at him that I did not learn that way. If I didn't understand something I went to office hours. I don't learn by reading. I have dyslexia and can't learn that way. Luckly for me I learn a way to coop so I was able to suceed in school. I didn't say any of that because at that point I was crying and I didn't want him to know it. Anywoo today sucks, hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Also I still can't find spell check and it doesn't highlight mis-spelling. I aplogize for all the words I butchered and I the ones in the future.

Aggie: Hope you find the energy you need to get through the day!

JLQ: Text books are sooo expensive. At least that is what I recall. Have fun!

  • This is so much better for phones than the old one. I like being able to post pics again.

Degrea - sorry your day sucks! I hate jerk bosses. I once had one tell me I needed to grow up because I asked him a second time for a reference letter because he is a scatter brain. He was ridiculous and I did not enjoy my 7 months working for him.

For our business we pick up farm fresh produce and deliver it to families in our city. Yesterday I was the only one who could go and pick up from the farm. My pregnancy brain was in full force and I forgot a lot of things we need. Then it was all so heavy I am paying for it today. I should not have done all the lifting I did. We're taking Rubbermaid containers full of veggies. One was packed full of summer squash. I was crazy!
  • Echo: All that produce sounds amazing! Sorry you are paying for it today. Are you doing anything yummy with it, like zucini bread?

  • Oh Degrea I'm sorry to hear about your awful morning!! That's terrible. I would have been in tears, too!
And yes, textbooks are still expensive.  Especially ones that I can only buy at the bookstore. Stupid instructors and their custom made texts!

  • We will be enjoying a lot of zucchini bread. We are also growing our own in our garden so we have a lot! I also plan to make zuchinni soup and freeze some. We also use zuchinni sliced julienne as noodles because we eat grain free. We're also going to roast a bunch of it this weekend at the ils for a family BBQ.
  • Also this pic is from yesterday but I find it adorable. Ds is obsessed with bunnies and we often have some visit our yard in the early evening. Yesterday ds and I drove dh to work. When we got home there was a bunny on our lawn so we watched it from our car for a bit! Man that kid is cute!
  • I miss you ladies.  I hope to be able to come back and play but it's not looking good (any time soon anyway.  I won't bore you with work but it's super busy and has me totally stressing.)

jlq - I saw your post about the dentist and I'm sorry that they couldn't do it after psyching yourself up for it.  But I hope you enjoy your upcoming Orientation and new classes :)

Echo - that pictures is really cute :)  Sorry about your pregnancy brain!

Degrea - I had no idea you were dyslexic and I've never noticed anything with the way you post so hats off to you for finding ways to cope with it.  Does your boss know about the dyslexia?  I would think you would be eligible for some ADA accommodations and if he's in violation of that (or even making fun of you for it), he's setting himself up for a major lawsuit.  Not saying that you would sue but he's treading on thin ice.  If it's a documented disability, you have legal rights that need to be respected.  At the very least, he sounds like a total dickwad.

Update about the leg after my doctor's appt yesterday:  Not a stress fracture but a stress reaction (basically a precursor to a stress fracture.)  I can start running again (slowly building back up--which I did today after my extremely stressful day at work) but if it starts hurting again, I have to stop.  So basically I went a month and had numerous doctor's appointments for him to say "If it's hurts, don't do it" which is precisely the medical advice my dad always gave me.  Oh well, I'm happy it wasn't a fracture so that was good news.

Also, the JT and JayZ concert last night was amazing.  The best concert I've ever been to.  That is all.

  • E! My sil was at that concert last night too!!
  • Well sorry to hear you didn't get any better answers about your leg! I think it's silly the only thing they could tell you is to not push it. You would think there'd be some exercises or something you could do for strength to help.
The concert sounded fun! I haven't been to one in forever. I'm trying to get DH to go see The Beach Boys with me in September. They're coming to Williamsport, and I totally want to go!
