Wedding Attire Question

Is this dress too dressy for a 4 o'clock wedding outside next Saturday?  I don't know how to describe the material but the tag says 94% polyester 6% spandex...classy right?  The couple getting married is pretty laid back and I feel like the reception is going to be fairly laid back as well so I sort of feel like I should be wearing a cotton sundress or the like but this is the only dress I feel comfortable in right now.

Here is what their wedding website says about attire:

Attire

Let's call it "wedding casual."

Ladies, we'd love to see you in a pretty dress (long or short). Slacks and a blouse work, too. Remember, the wedding and reception will be outside. If you plan to wear heels, we recommend a shoe without a stiletto heel (e.g. wedge, platform, etc.)

Gents, it's going to scorching hot! Dress comfortably, but wear something to compliment your smoking, hot date. Suits are not required, neither are ties, but it a wedding so please no tshirts.

These are just guidelines because we know people will have questions. We're sure you'll look great in anything you decide the wear. The bride requests that you refrain from wearing a wedding dress, but if that's really all you have to wear she prefers that to you going naked (a la Betazoid wedding style.)
