do you eat hummus

I know this isn't GP related but Ben loves hummus and in trying to promote healthy low carb eating i'm working on some new hummus recipies for him to dip his veggies into.

would you eat avacado hummus?

I typically make garlic hummus but i'd like to switch it up.

what types of hummus do you love?

  • While I absolutely adore both chickpeas and avocados, I'd never mix my hummus and my guacamole obsessions. Maybe mix up some delicious guac for Ben to scoop up with bell pepper strips??

I really love garlic hummus, but I also enjoy it with kalamata olives or other spice blends. Let me see if I can find some recipes!

@caseyandlizzie I love everything TJ's especially their garlic hummus!

but Ben goes through it so quickly so making it is more economical. maybe i'll have to look for a recipe for Edamame hummus:) yum!

  • FFC:  I've never had hummus.

  • Avocado hummus sounds delicious! I like the Roasted Red Pepper and Supremely Spicy ones myself. Garlic is good too. Try it (avocado) and tell us how it is!

  • Hummus is really good. I've only ever had it once...don't remember what flavor but it was so good! I don't know how avocado hummus would turn out...I don't think the textures would mesh well together but you won't know until you try it!

    Those mixes sound yummy! thanks
  • I could literally eat a full container of hummus with a spoon. I don't make it myself, but I enjoy the spicier ones, garlic, kalamata olive, and red pepper. I don't know how I feel about avocado hummus, though.

About hummus - I loooooove it! My favorites are garlic, roasted red pepper, and avocado! :-) I hate the eggplant kind for some reason.
