    Maybe it is just my computer screen, but it looks like a light tan to me...

    For a bridal shower? Absolutely. I think anything goes for showers. I avoid white at weddings at all costs (but maybe that's because my SIL screamed at DH's 14-year-old cousin for saying she was going to wear a white dress with a ribbon - yeah, she's in 8th grade...)

    I've never heard any "rules" about not wearing white to a bridal shower. But I also don't think that dress is white. It looks like a very light beige color to me.

    Every time I see a post about dresses on here, it reminds me of the spam we used to get saying "Would this look ok on a 2 tri gal?" And it was some slutty little thing lol. 

    Yours on the other hand is gorgeous! Go for it!

    thanks girls!

    I think its funny everyone here thinks its OK to wear and on my local board the dress was completely shot down. They suggested either not wearing it or wearing a colorful cardigan with it.

    I do like the idea of a colorful cardigan with it...but that's mostly because I'm so pale, I would not be able to pull off the "whiteness" of the dress.
