Re: dress question

  • Hmm...I personally don't think I would.  Maybe if it had more color up top.
  • I don't think I would.  Every bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party etc I've been to lately the bride to be wears white.  I think it would be better to err on the side of caution and stay away from white.

  • I wouldn't either. Unless you have a bright colored cardigan to wear over it.

  • I personally think there is enough other color in the dress and would wear it. I wore gray dress pants and a light gray top to my shower. I wore black and white to my rehearsal and an off white tank and jeans to my Bachelorette party. Depends on the bride in my opinion. I wouldn't even realize you had on a mostly white dress if you wore that to mine....

  • OK! lots of varied opinions! thanks girls
  • I'm late but I would probably wear it. It's not stark white and I always wear cardigans over everything anyway so that would break it up.

That being said, I wore jeans to my bridal shower (stupid surprises) and a floral dress to my bachelorette party. I'm also not the type of person who would get mad about that though. I mean as long as you don't wear a wedding dress to my wedding, I wouldn't be the type to get all in a tizzy like "bitch wore white to my bridal (insert event here). She's dead to me!"

This is exactly how I feel...it really all depends on the bride.

Me too.  I wouldn't care at all.
