So how DO you use coconut oil as conditioner?
I didn't want to hijack the "products" thread, so I'm asking here instead.
I already make a body butter using coconut oil (along with shea butter and almond oil), so adding more coconutty goodness to my beauty product arsenal wouldn't be stretch.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
Cycle 8,9,10 - 50mg Clomid - BFN
@knitknat28, you use 1 part shea butter (the pure stuff that's solid at room temp) and 1/2 part each of coconut and almond oil.
Melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler set up, then let the melted mix cool for about 30 minutes. Stir in the almond oil. Then I stick it in the fridge for a while. When it's semi-solid, you whip it (I use a hand mixer) all up then put it in your jar(s) of choice. 1 cup shea with 1/2 cups coconut and almond oils will get you around 28 oz body butter. You can add any essential oils of your choice for scent.
