My Fitness Pal

It is time...time to give up my extra calories every day. The gestating and pumping are behind me. First step cleaning up my eating habits. I would like to mention NO one wants to be around me right now. Between the stress of this move, which has been a zinger, me deciding to wean from pumping (one of the worst decisions of my life), an not being able to fulfill my eating indulgences, I am quite snippy. With all that said, who wants to be inspirational to/for me. Anyone else on myfitnesspal?
Hugs and mean glares,
Me

  • I have it and sporadically use it. I'm trying to get into that mind set again.
  • I am on it.  I have no idea what my screen name is but I need to start logging again.  Keep an eye out for me ;)

  • NQ - unsolicited advice warning - after the babe arrives, and you are starting to get into a rhythm, but before you want to really start "dieting" (a term I am using very loosely since I am a firm believer in taking care of yourself and the babe first), start tracking what you are eating for a week or so. I am really struggling with the weight this go round. Shannon & Jess - look me up, I am so motivated by others and really empowered when I see losses by friends.

That's pretty much what I do normally. I've never "dieted" but by using the app to track what I eat, I make healthier choices and am more motivated to exercise to record that as well. I recommend making your diary sharing settings public so people see what you've eaten and what exercise you've done. Not only does it keep you accountable, but it's motivation when you see your friends making the healthy choices.

  • I have it.  Need to get back to using it regularly when things get settled in a couple weeks.  I really like it and had success when I used it.   The first few days are the hardest.
