"It's Friday, you ain't got no job...and you ain't got shit to do."

Too bad we all have jobs and shit to do! hah!

Happy Friday!!
Yesterday at work I started training the new girl. She seemed nice and like she'll do well. There's just so much to show her before I'm done. Oh well!
It's raining here, not a nice way to start a Friday.

What do you all have planned for the weekend?!
I'm working my second job, so I plan to watch a lot of Hallmark movies. hahahah!

  • jlq - are going to work while you're going back to school?  Or just a part-time job?

Not much going on here.  Work is crazy busy but Orientation is a week from Monday so things should hopefully calm down after that.  I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

  • Yes, I'm going to be working while going to school. I'm only in school part-time, and I can't afford to not work. I'm going to mostly work the second job that I have now (home health), as long as they can find a case for me that works with my school schedule and availability.

  • Goood morning! and a happy happy happy Friday to you :o)

    anyone doing anything fun?

We are headed south to see my BFF! She is coming to the southern most part of VA for her H's car race, so we won't be doing anything to exciting but I am glad to get to see her.  I think we are going to stop and see Monticello on the way down (Thomas Jefferson's plantation)  and then stop in Richmond on the way home to eat at Chuy's yummm and pick up Blue Bell ice cream to bring home :o

E I was wondering if orientation was making your life hectic.  I remember this time of year being a little crazy for you.  Hope it goes smoothly and settles down quick!

jlq enjoy all the hallmark movies :O)

  • Happy Friday!! It's my last day off before one week of daycare girlie and then two weeks off. Dh is also off today but he is golfing this morning! I don't understand golf. It's such a long activity and I don't have the patience for it personally.

This weekend we have a BBQ at the ils that were bringing some of our zucchini to and then Sunday friends of ours are having their son baptised and we are his Godparents. This is our 4th Godchild! It's so overwhelming! We have to pick Godparents for DomSarahtops and its so hard because for us it's not just something we're doing because we're supposed to. We really believe in it. Ahh and so the next 4 months of my life will be figuring out who to pick while trying to be sensitive to others feelings...oi!

We had our big ultrasound yesterday! Baby looks human! At one point the tech said 'oh she has her feet over her head! A little gymnast!' It threw me off so I'm not sure if she says she for all babies to be safe or if she let it slip. I've felt girl all along so we shall see! Anyways feet over head was Charlie's position during his big ultrasound too. And since I can post a pic here it is!!

  • Ok pic is coming now
  • Morning Gals! Sounds like everyone has a fun weekend planned. We aren't doing anything fun, chores and maybe some shopping. O well!

Aggie: Have fun! Seeing old friends is the best.

E: Hope work calms down! We miss you around here.

Echo: Are you hoping for a boy over a girl or visa versa?

JLQ: I asked the interns. They all carry a backpack. The old fashioned kind with two straps. Good to know that not everything has changed since earky 2000's.

  • I don't really care either way. I would like a girl eventually but I recently read as a part of a boy you only have to worry about one penis. With girls you have to worry about everyone else's....how true!

I have a feeling this one is a girl and have from the start so we shall see! I thought with Charlie he was a boy all along and that was right so we'll see if my mommy intuition is accurate.

That is one of my dad's isms or sanes. LOL! I think boys are easier overall. From years 11 - 21 girls are tough.

  • My day was just made! I've been wanting to try these sriracha chips you Americans have. I just received a box of 6 bags from a couple we met on our honeymoon! I am so excited to try them!!
  • HAHA Echo! Why didn't you say something. I would have sent you some. Let me know how spicy they are. I was worried they would be too spicy for me.

  • Well come fall I might be looking for some pumpkin poptarts! Once I found out those existed last pregnancy I needed them. Although we don't really eat grains anymore so who knows if ill crave them...

I'm debating waiting to DH to get home to try the chips but I might try them once ds is on bed! He loved jalapeño popper chips we had so I think sriracha will be nothing to him and these chips are Mommy's!

I just saw this. Boys are also much easier for diaper changes. I realize its only like 3 years of their lives they're in diapers but serious...we are difficult! I have become aware of this since having my daycare girl! Girls are complicated!
  • Yaaayyy BABY!!!!  I love ultrasound pictures. Is that weird?! Even though most of the time I can't make stuff out!

I'm glad that kids still carry good old fashioned backpacks! Now I won't feel lame using mine! I gotta dig it out, who knows where it's gotten to!

Echo - Holy cow! 4 Godchildren?! That's crazy!!! And I agree with you, I take picking the role of Godparents very seriously, also.

My best friend wants boys. She said boys are way easier than girls. She's not pregnant yet, but she's already decided she wants boys. haha!

  • BABY!!! =D>

Aggie - Yes, I'm swamped because of Orientation which is our biggest event of the year.  There's just SO much to do and it's quickly approaching.  Plus it doesn't help that I've had so many computer issues and doctor's appointments as of late.  But this too shall pass, right?
