Hello everyone. So I normally use a few coupons here and there when I can find them to help manage a large purchase at like Joanns, or something like that. But the other day me and my fiance went food shopping, im very organized, with a list and use club cards, and always find sales. we normally budget around $200 for food per check that will last us 2 weeks, until our next pay day, but I really want to start using coupons for all our food shopping to help save extra money, sense things are a bit tight at the moment, with a large truck payment and other bills, I though couponing would be a good place to start but I don't really know WHERE to start. any advice? no need to go crazy like those ladies on Extreme Couponing, but it would be neat to save 50-100 bucks now and then. any advice or links would be really helpful.
thank you.
Re: Coupon Newbe
When shopping with coupons, make sure you are buying things you actually need and use. When I first started using coupons I found myself buying things because I had a coupon for it.
CVS is great with their coupons and sales. If you have a CVS near you, get an ExtraCare card. You will be amazed how much you can save on body wash etc.
Meal planning will save you a lot also. I try to plan our meals based on what is on sale.
