I was speechless when I finished the book. Assisted suicide is an unfamiliar and new topic for me. I was secretly hoping he wouldn't die in the end and they would fall in love but not all books can have the happy endings we want. I liked how he set Lou up financially and she was able to go back to school, go to Paris like they talked about. Good lessons to learn from this book.

I just finished this a few minutes ago. I am utterly devastated by this book. I don't even want to start anything new because I don't want to admit that it's over.
