It's a BOY!!
Ian Andrew was born at 9:38 am on July 25th via scheduled C-section.
he was 7 lbs. 5 oz and 19 in long. He has a TON of Dark hair with Highlights. No Lie it is streaked with blonde! Every nurse and Dr. commented on it. Its hard to get in a picture though.
He looks SO MUCH like Adam as a baby! That is the first thing I said when they showed him to me in the OR lol.
Everything went well. The spinal was the hardest part- and it wasn't really all that bad I think the fact that the OR was FREEZING was half of it and the fact that I had some other- very nice- guy to hang on too since they didn't bring DH in until I was on the table ready to go
. Even though I ended up with a c-section when I had Adam at the same hospital, it was a very different experience.

congrats! he is adorable and i love his hair!!!!!! my little guy was born on the 13th! Hope your older son is adjusting well. my 3.5 year old was having some very negative attention seeking behavior for the first 2 weeks but is doing better now. he loves the baby but i've seen him get a little rough with him too- probably exploring things.... so he is not allowed alone with him now...not even for a minute... hope you have an easy recovery!

Adam is doing alright! he was very excited that he had a brother- Boy was his guess.
Being 5 his is a little loud and crazy to begin with- it does seem to be a bit more so than normal- assuming he is insuring he gets attention too. He is also pulling a little bit of not listening. Over all I think he's doing ok. he does say he loves him and will sit and look at him and talk to him so that is a plus. I think that will change a little next week when I will be able to go out more and drive so we can get out of the house a bit.

Congrats to you too! Hope your older son goes easy on you! It's probably a little harder at that age. Old enough to know he isn't getting all the attention anymore, but not quite old enough to "understand". Adam knows what's up, not that he likes it, but can better deal with it and keep himself busy at 5.
