We didn't post the weekend plans post on Friday, so how was everyone's weekend? Monday came way too fast for me!
Re: How was your weekend?
It sure did come fast. For once we were home for the weekend..... first time in a few weeks. Nice to get some stuff done!! Saturday our neighbors down the street had their annual Camp Out party. We didn't bring a tent to stay in the back yard but many people did. Maybe next year. They put a big projector movie screen up and Madi sure enjoyed laying on the blankets with all the bigger kids watching the show. Fun times. And my apple snicker salad was a big hit!
Yesterday we just swam (first time in weeks) and relaxed.
Oh and pat on back to myself but Friday I had a doc appt (follow up at GYN due to blood pressure being high at annual in May) and since I was there in May I lost 15 lbs! My BP was still high but came to determine I think I got myself all worked up at the office because my mom took saturday and it was 110/70. Joy!

We had our annual luau party on Saturday, which was a blast, but Sunday is never as fun, haha! Fortunately, my in-laws were at my house so we had a lot of help getting everything back together. We had most of the clean up done by late morning and we just hung out in the afternoon, then went out to dinner (Red Robin....YUMMMMM!)

Friday I went to a friend's house for a jewelry party.
Saturday I went for a run at NP, DH went to a surprise party for his uncle in the afternoon, then we had a party to go to that evening.
Sunday I had a little date day with Mason. I took him to Touch a Truck at our library and then to the movies to see Planes.
Not real keen on this cool weather continuing. I hope September brings it with an awesome heat wave.
TGI-Monday?
Congrats, Caron - awesome job! And Emmy and Amber - I know this is the major workload part of year with students coming back - good luck!
We're still settling into our new normal here! Saturday, I took the older two boys out for some school shopping (Gavin needs a uniform and it can't be any piece you buy from Target/Walmart, unfortunately, so we headed to the consignment store and picked up a few pieces.) That was followed by TRU to pick out new lunchboxes (Conall starts dc tomorrow and has to pack lunch), a lego set each, and then back hom for DH and I to build those sets!
In the afternoon we headed out to Walmart to pick up a small kitchen table set. Our eat-in is too small for our dining room table, so we're turning that "nook" into a homework/craft station for the boys. A quiet night in followed that.
Sunday morning, I took a walk around the neighborhood with Sean and and unpacked a few more boxes whiole DH put the table together. In the afternoon, DH kicked me out to get a pedicure and then I just drove around the area checking out the local restaurants and took my time in one of the gorcery stores I had seen, but hadn't visited yet. It was good research and alone time!
Back to reality today, which, I really can't complain about since my commute it a whole 6 feet from bed to desk! Tomorrow will be the challenge, though, as Sean and Conall start daycare and I have to figure out a new routine! (which will only last a week until Gavin starts school next Wednesday!)
Have a good week everyone!
When I got home, I played outside with the older two and they rode bikes
My three sons!

Friday night we laid low at home. The kids were at Science Center camp all week. Todd was moody from a week without naps, and I was spent from the extra commuting time since I did all of the drop-offs and pick-ups.
Saturday evening we went to a festival at a church a few blocks from our house. The kids had fun and we stayed out late.
Sunday was Idlewild! We met up with a family who we met through daycare and has since moved to the north hills. They have a boy H’s age and a girl T’s age, and the kids all get along great. We had a lot of fun – soakzone, raccoon lagoon and both kids liked the Rollo Coaster, but I am physically tired from being on my feet most of the weekend!
Todd hasn’t really napped in a week and a half, so I’m guessing he’s going to pass out for naptime at his regular summer camp this week!

I was wondering too. Woah girl! Still 100 is great.
Not a fan of the cool weather right now either b/c we love to go to the pool in the evenings. Hoping Sept is not super hot b/c then we are screwed with no pool!
We also went to Idewild on Saturday and let me tell you I saw enough tattoos & flesh to last me a lifetime! I also made the big mistake of going on the Spider with Caileigh and I'm still feeling woozy b/c of it!
How time flies! Caileigh (9), Keira (6) & Eamon (3)
I drove to Baltimore Wednesday night, and got to my sister's around 10. Got to sleep in Thursday morning, went shopping and then into the city for Justin Timberlake and Jay Z.
Drove home through several torrential downpours Friday morning and picked up the kids.
Saturday we had two parties and a playdate, and then drove to the lake.
Sunday was spent with my parents swimming and lounging on the boat before driving home in time to watch breaking bad.
