Have you ever gone to a wedding where you just knew that the couple wasn't meant for each other and would eventually break up?

I have been. It was a wedding where the bride and groom knew each other for a few weeks. I am actually surprised that the JP allowed them to get married since they were both drunk at the ceremony. They end up filing for divorce less than a month later.

I also think that I will be attending a wedding in Oct where the groom doesn't seem to interested in getting married. We'll see.

My best friend's. They had dated in high school and then broke up when he went to rehab for an eating disorder. They started dating again when we were sophmores in university. They got married two years ago and I wonder how they are still together. He's an alcoholic and a d-bag. They're having a baby in October. That should be a nice little clusterfuck.

One of my good friends. I didn't know her before she got married, but he's a lot older than her (almost 15 years, I think). While that isn't the issue in and of itself, it contributes. She wants to do things for younger people, and he wants nothing to do with it. She wants kids and he doesn't, but he says he'll have them if she wants them (I think it's a bad idea). He doesn't let her do what she wants, he's very controlling and she doesn't seem happy with him...Just sayin'!

I have a friend who was in a rush to get married (engaged within months and married within the year of meeting their SO) to their SO and then within months they were talking about breaking up. Every 6 months they get in a fight over the same thing and they talk about breaking up but then get back together the next day and It's like nothing happened. This year they had the same fight but it got really bad and they actually decided they were going to divorce and moved out, I thought this one was going to stick, but a week later they were back together like nothing happened. Oh and a month later they were talking about having a baby like nothing happened.

I wasn't at the wedding, but the couple eloped. I know someone who met a guy while running errands with friends. Apparently they became inseparable right away. He moved in with her 10 days later. About 2 weeks after they met, while out shopping, she bought her own engagement ring and they were engaged. From the story I heard, he got down on his knee in Zales after she paid for the ring.

They met in April and were engaged in May. After they got engaged she introduced him to her parents and said they wanted to get married July 4th. A friend of hers was already planning the bridal shower. The parents objected and constantly tried to talk her into waiting a year to get married. They decided to elope. They went to Miami, got married on July 4th and then went on a cruise.

They decided after a few months that they had to have a child, so they got pregnant. She had a baby and things started to go down hill. I think it took about 2 years to split up. I know he's moved out of state and doesn't see or contact the son at all.

My oldest sister's wedding. They took a break 2 months before her wedding. In that time she found out she was pregnant, so they went through with it for the baby's sake. They were divorced within a year.

Also, a friend's wedding. I bumped into him at his bachelor party, he had his tongue down a random girl's throat. They are still married, but I recently found out they swing. So whatever I guess if they are into that kind of thing.
