Anyone else building a house?
We are almost done with the "planning" phase right now. We have the desing and layout and plans pretty much done, but we're about to move into the construction phase and picking out the details. We also need to sale the town house we live in now. Anyone else in a similar situation or have any recommendations? Haven't ran into any problems yet, but I'm just preparing myself for the stress. LOL!

It hasn't been too stressful. I am also matchy matchy, so it was hard to step back and say that everything doesn't have to match exactly. I tried to stay with neutral themed things, like I skipped having medallions in the backsplash since fleur de lys may seem dated in 10 years.
We are at the framing stage right now. We try to walk the house once a week to catch anything that they mess up on. Like our shower was not dropped in correct, so they have to go back and fix it. If we would have waited to walk the house then it would have been too late to fix it.
