H's Haircut - too funny not to share
Oh my, I keep asking myself why I didn't say anything...
Usually I tell the lady what H wants for a haircut. #2 on the sides, longer top, fade the beard in. It's not that H can't, but he's so used to going in to a military barber and they know high and tight, nothing needs to be said. He just doesn't know how to speak up for himself. But I feel like "that wife".
Anyway, so we go into Great Clips... and it's the same lady as last time, so I think we're ok. I hear "We doing 0 around and 1 on top?" I'm like NOOOOOOOOOOO and he said sure and snip there it goes. We/I like it long on top because he does have a receding hairline and it just looks better. Oh there goes that! Then H is like we might as well shave the beard - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I kind of got used to it!
Well, he kept the beard, so now he is a bald man with a huge big Amish beard. I'm so glad it grows fast... it's getting really hard to keep telling him it looks "good"....
"well it looks, ok"...
"I'm not that embarrassed to be seen with you - where's your baseball cap?"

Haha, this has happened to my H before too. I also hate being "that wife" with him at the barber, but if it is somewhere new, I will go there! He once had to bring in a picture of a high and tight fade to a lady he had seen a few times. Though, I don't know why he kept going back to her if she couldn't get it right! He has just now finally found somewhere he really likes, but it has taken 3 years of living in this area to do so.
I hope his hair grows out quickly or you can convince him to wear that darn hat!
That's pretty funny! I feel like we need a picture!!
DH always goes by himself to get his hair cut, and it always looks good. He does go once in a while and has his mom cut his hair. When she does it, it looks blocky and I'm not a fan of it. I do like that I get to tease him ruthlessly about having his mommy cut his hair, though.
I think that we need a pic of this.
DH has an amazing barber who he has been going to for years now. The only thing that I don't like that he does is shaves DH's mustache a little to low but he always put extra powder on DH because he knows that I like it.
