I met a girl down at the disco

She said "hey, hey, yea let's go"

This song is in my head because it's hump day. I think my brain is ridiculous sometimes.

Happy hump day friends. May it be a good one. As for me I already desire a nap- that is never a good sign! Lol.

Re: I met a girl down at the disco

  • I had a terrible sleep last night so I will join you in that nap. Ds has already had two could falls today resulting in a scraped and far lip, bruised cheek, arm and side. Yeah!! Good mommy! I have a lot to do during nap time today because we're going away next week! Boo! No rest for me!

We're going to a cottage with my whole family. There will be 10 adults and 5 kids. It should be fun and super busy! We're also doing family pictures that week. It'll be interesting to have everyone get ready with 1 bathroom!
  • Good Afternoon Friends! Sounds like everyone is having the same sort of day. We are all tired! I slept on the couch last night at my parents house. I am too old to do that. A little sore today.

Aggie/E: I didn't know it was pronounced cry-cut. I always say cricket because that is the symbol on the packaging. Good know! HAHA!! I use to call it the circuit machine before my H pointed out that there is not an extra "i." LOL!

Echo: Sounds like you have quite a fun week planned. Fun and busy!

To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be. - Unknown Why is electricity so expensive these days? Why does it cost so much for something I can make with a balloon and my hair? - Dennis Miller

also this!!!! I had no idea!
  • OK so...apparently Sarah might not be our girl name...What do you like better for a first name Sarah or Therese. I think it would be Sarah Elizabeth or Therese Rose.
  • Echo: I vote Sarah!

  • Another vote for Sarah. And Degrea I too used to say circuit and then cricket until I was informed I was saying it wrong. Well actually I still say cricket frequently :-P

  • Am I the only one who likes Therese? It's not a name you hear a lot.

We went to the Little League Parade tonight. It started at 6:30, and never ended until 9:15! It was soooo long! It was pretty neat though. We're going to try to get to some games this weekend. My older sister is coming up Saturday with my niece & nephew and staying until Sunday afternoon! I'm really excited. They've never been here, so it will be really nice!
Today was my last day at work. It was kind of sad, all my residents were telling me how much they're going to miss me, and they all looked so sad.
:( One of them actually cried! It made me feel sad. I really am going to miss my residents. But I promised them I'd go back to visit, which I will. And I'm still on the schedule for PRN use, so I might work a day here and there.

  • I like Therese better as a middle name :-)

  • I go back and forth on like Therese. DH just all of a sudden came out with it again and I was like I thought Sarah was set done deal! Naming a human is stressful!!
