Those little white lies

Hi Everyone!

We are doing a bit of research and we are hoping you can help us!

Fill us in -- what are some little white lies your parent friends have told you about having kids? (This could be something funny or very serious! But whatever it is, we would love to hear from you!)

Leave your white lie in the comments below!

Be sure to follow The Nest on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

Re: Those little white lies

  • The first one is always the worst. I was the first child in my family, and I was really bad. My daughter is 3 1/2 and everyone compliments on how well behaved she is. She is nothing like me in that sense. She is a very calm child compared to other kids her age (and older!).

  • I LOL when I hear/read people saying that breastfeeding doesn't hurt.

    It does!

Even when the latch is correct and your nips are in great shape (not tender or bleeding)...the baby is essentially breaking down internal fiberous tissue in the nipple with sucking and it makes toes curl for the first few weeks.

  • "You get used to functioning with less sleep" LOL

  • "They make your life complete." Umm you should make your life complete. So glad I don't have them. No interest at all!
