So I started a new post because I can't figure out how to edit from mobile. Sorry for being an AW today.
The appointment was so good! I love the midwives and got so many questions answered.
We talked about my anxiety and she said I can still see her and be on meds for that. She just can't prescribe them. So I can go to a clinic or see my family doctor for that.
She gave me a script for anti-nausea meds so I wake up less sick and can enjoy food again hopefully!
I can book a dating u/s but she recommended not having the NT to keep worrying for results down. We decided to skip the NT since other major things will show up on the a/s.
She couldn't find the HB at first but R had recorded it last night and baby had been to the right. Once she heard what we found and knew where baby liked to be, she found it right away. It was amazing to have her confirm and find it! So very cool!
Only downside, my veins suck. She couldn't get any blood today and I have to go to a lab, but overall great!
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline!

So glad it went well! It sounds like you have a plan on how to tackle the struggles you have had so far and a good start to a relationship with your midwife!

YAY!!! So happy you had a great appointment and that you feel so good about the midwives! I hope you can relax a bit more and start enjoying this pregnancy! : )
We skipped the NT as well. Just didn't want to have anything extra to worry about when most things would come up at the A/S.
So happy for you!
