Weekend Plans

It is Friday! Woohoo! What is everyone up to this weekend?

My plans

Today we are hanging out with my mom. Going shopping :)

Saturday we are going to get all our chores done. I would love to go to the farmer's market but I don't know if we will make it. Then we will drop Ava Nichol off with my mom and go out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and then have a quiet night at home.

Sunday we are going to wake up when wefeel like it and head out to my pparent's. We are doing ccake and ice cream for DH's bday out there and then my mom and step dad are leaving for Mexico for two weeks! Ahhhh my mom hasn't ever been gone that long and especially not somewhere where it might be difficult to get ahold of her!

Then we have to go to Nick's grandparent's for dinner to celebrate his sister being sober for 6 months.

Re: Weekend Plans

  • My parents fly in tonight for the week. It will be their first time meeting Zack. I'm excited as are they. And I can't believe he is ready a month old today!

We don't have any definite plans yet but I'm sure we'll go shopping and they were also talking about going to a minor league baseball game.

My aunt and uncle will also be in town with my cousin for a few days. Yay for hanging out with family :)

  • Super exciting Bobcee! Also, a month? Already? I think babies speed up time or something ;)

  • We are at the beach house.  Today we are going to try to have a day by the pool, even though it's probably not warm enough.  We are thinking about making a dinner reservation for later but I feel so lazy and tired!  DH had mentioned maybe going to a winery, but I would rather chill here.

Tomorrow we are having a bunch of people out for a day at the pool/lawn games/bbq.  I have to make my s'mores bars...

Sunday DH will chill around here and clean up and I have a work retreat.

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.

  • Today I am working, then probably just doing my Friday night cleaning routine.

Tomorrow we are going to DHs coworkers birthday party.

Sunday we will probably just be working around the house. It'll be the first day we've had in a while to catch up on some yard work and projects.

  • Today I am just hanging out at home until DH gets home. Then if he gets off before 6 we are going to the dealer to have him check out the truck he wants and have him decide if he wants it and if yes finish the paperwork.

Tomorrow and Sunday I have no idea. Hopefully just go to church and then relax.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. :)
  • Tonight my plan is to get a jump start on cleaning the house, and if DH is feeling well enough, we might grab some dinner out (he's been sick this week).

Tomorrow I'll finish cleaning in the morning (bathrooms, blech), and then DH said he wanted to take me out to do some shopping for my birthday.  Then we have dinner with the in-laws.

Sunday will just be grocery shopping and relaxing, I hope.  Maybe a trip to Babies R Us, since we still need to figure out what all to register for.  We also badly need to trim bushes and do some other yardwork, but it will most likely wait until next week.

  • Tonight?  No idea other than going to TCBY because I saw our local TCBY is FINALLY serving cones!  As soon as I saw that yesterday I started craving it.  :)  DH is all for it!

Tomorrow: We have a golf outing all day with MIL's entire side of the family in memory of DH's uncle that passed away suddenly about 9 years ago.  It's an annual thing.  My only challenge is going to be faking the shot we all do on the 14th tee.

Sunday: Church and then lounging at home.

  • Tonight I am test driving an SUV, cleaning, & laundry. DH is golfing

@madeline10L what are you test driving?  Now that LO is on the way, DH is all about trading in his truck for an SUV so he can have a "family" vehicle, too.  lol

  • Tonight - Not really sure. I think I will run to get a Papa Murphy's pizza and we will stay in and watch Breaking Bad.

Tomorrow - We're going to WAMMFest with some friends! It's a Wine Art Music and Microbrew festival to support charity. Lots of yummy food and local brews for DH.

Sunday - I have to work, DH will probably go fishing.

@JennaHack - I am looking at a Nissan Murano. We have the Rogue right now and while we love the car, we would like a little bit more room.
@madeline10L That's what DH was looking at!  We love Nissans!  Though, we've also glanced at the Santa Fes, too.  They've gotten great reviews, just like the Muranos, and they're a tiny bit bigger.  We'll see, though.  We won't be getting anything until closer to EDD.

I drive a Murano, and absolutely love it. When we were shopping for my car, I also test drove a Santa Fe and liked it, but the Murano was a much smoother ride. I highly recommend :). My only complaint is that the rear windows are shaped in such a way that checking blind spots requires a little extra effort. But mine is a 2010, so maybe they've fixed that with the newer models.
