Determining baby's position
Can this only be done via u/s? At our first OB appt, they mentioned that we would only have two u/s throughout the whole pregnancy... the dating u/s in first tri and the a/s. We actually got a third only because of my surgery.
How do they determine the baby's position closer to delivery? Just by exam?
No real reason for this question other than curiosity.
Re: Determining baby's position
I guess they just know by touching your tummy and pushing down. :-/

I can feel lumps when he stretches out but I have no clue whether it's head, leg, butt. I'm impressed that you ladies can decipher that!

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."

@caseyandlizzie I also feel movement right under my boobs but I can't tell what it is. I assume its her butt or legs since my doctor always tells me she's head down.
To make you feel my love.
When I was admitted they did a quick u/s to verify.

I used to cradle her butt and tickle her feet. Oh and I felt hiccups in my butt, haha! I never felt her in my ribs and I rarely had kicks and stuff above my belly button!

I tried feeling around and based on their theory of the "bulge" I think I at least know where his butt is now. Very cool!
