Re: Meal Plan-8/18-8/24

  • Alright ladies what do you have planned for this week? You can tell us what for each day or just a lump of what you have for the week.

Monday - ham, string beans and potatoes (all in one pot)

Tuesday - ziti with meat sauce, salad and bread

Wednesday - creamy crockpot chicken over rice with a veggie

Thursday - shake and bake pork chops, mashed potatoes and a veggie

Friday - grilled chicken Caesar salad

Trying anything new? Not really, I'm too lazy for that, I may make bread though.

Any recipes you would like to share? They're all pretty basic

    Any questions? Nope!

QOTW-What is your specialty and how often do you make it? I make my own pasta sauce, a batch gets made every other month or so. My Mac and cheese is also amazing, but I only do that like 3 times a year

  • Spicy sausage pasta w/ fresh spinach
General Tso's chicken, roasted broccoli, rice
EB lasagna cupcakes, garlic bread, salads
    EB cheeseburger cupcakes w/ fries
Drunken pork chops, macaroni & cheese, baked zucchini fries
Franks & beans casserole (frozen corn in cornbread mixture), salads
    English muffin pizzas

Trying anything new? Drunken pork chops & baked zucchini fries. Found them on Pinterest and they had great reviews. I am making the spicy sausage pasta Monday but have stuff to make a few times so we'll have it again! The General Tso's chicken was recommended by a fellow nestie.

The EB recipes are so good! Check out emilybites.com.

QOTW-What is your specialty and how often do you make it?

Um, I can't think of anything. Maybe my spaghetti sauce & meatballs? I make a big batch several times a year to freeze.

QOTW-I make a killer meatloaf. I make it a few times a year and DH recently bought the stuff for me to make it again but it is so hot I don't want to bake in the oven for 3 hours! I also found a Super easy recipe for a crockpot potroast with gravy I make like once a month and so far everyone loves it. Also, for holidays I do no bake cookies and peanut butter balls yum!

    Recipe share Crockpot Pot Roast
    3 lb beef chuck roast
2 cans of cream of potato (or celery/mushroom)
    1/4 cup beef stock
    1 packet onion soup mix

Put all ingredients in and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4. I serve with roastedpotatoes and carrots and put the gravy made in the crockpot over it all!
