Manic Monday

Hope it's going well for everyone. I'm just waiting anxiously with H for my endoscopy. My weekend was good and this morning was the two of us relaxing.

Good luck with the endoscopy!  Hope everything goes okay.

This weekend was okay.  We went to a friends lake house Saturday, which wasn't too bad.  DH won a cornhole tourney that they had, so that was good!

Yesterday, I had a rough day.  I've been pretty emotional the past few days (I blame AF), so when DH was running errands with his friends, playing softball, etc I got kinda upset (irrationally).  I basically laid in bed and either cried or slept all afternoon.  Once I woke up I felt a lot better though, I'm so glad DH doesn't take those things to heart.  I hate mood swings.

Wednesday we move my brother to IU.  :(   So I have the day off, but I'll still be busy!

  • Not too bad here. Typically Mondays are awful at work, but today isn't so bad and I'm feeling pretty productive.

The weekend was good. We didn't accomplish much. I had really wanted to get the bookcases and kitchen stools put together, but that never happened. We spent all day yesterday in our pajamas. It was awesome. Watched some tv, straightened up a bit around the house and got the laundry done. We played video games together and just had an "us" day which was so nice. :)

  • My weekend was spent packing, and freaking out about moving. Yuck to moving. My family helped me pack, and for some reason my dad just wanted to pack everything on Sunday, we are still in our old place for another week, so packing all of the cups, dishes, etc isn't going to work. Also he wanted to pack up the TV and all that. Urgh.

  • My weekend was nice. Friday, H and I went out to dinner and went home early because he had to be up at 4:30 to drive to Chicago for a cubs game. Saturday I cleaned the house and folded the 8 loads of laundry that I didn't get to last week. Went to the gym and then went out for wine with a friend. Sunday got up and went to the gym, then had lunch and a pedi with another friend. H was home by 4:30 so we caught up on some TiVo last night and made homemade sushi. Good times.

  • Thanks Ky. It went well. Good news is nothing is wrong with my throat or stomach. Bad news is my doctor is unsure why I'm still having acid reflux while I'm on medicine.

My throat bothers me some still, I feel so worn out, and a slight lingering headach. My eyes have been a tad puffy wich is odd I think. This is the first time I've been under and I hated the feeling.
  • This is a day late.  I've been non stop since Friday!

I'm super busy at work now.  It's our busy season in recruiting.  The goal is to hire 200 seasonal between now and the end of October.  I have 40 new hires starting this week!

This past weekend was MotoGP here in Indy!  Friday night, DH and I meet up with some friends and we took the bikes out.  During MotoGP, downtown Indy has this thing call Bicycles on Meridian.  Basically one of the main street in downtown Indy, as well as the monument circle is closed to only motorcycles.  There thousands of bikes lined up along the street, in the middle of the street, and around the circle.  It was my first time going down for it.  It was awesome!  We didn't get back home until 4am!

Saturday, we got up and went to the track to see some of the qualifying.  That was pretty fun as well.  I love watching how low the really good riders get on the turns.  We also had a wedding to go to Saturday night.  We didn't realize it until we got to the wedding...we weren't invited to the ceremony!  Only to the reception.  Ugh!  They had a small ceremony, and then had a bigger reception.  We were only going to stay for the ceremony, so, we got to stay through dinner (catered BBQ).  I went back out on the bike after we got back from the wedding.

Sunday, I had a baby shower to attend.  That was basically my weekend!

  • Ky I was the same way last night (and I can't even blame AF!). I thought DH and I were going to dinner together, he thought I knew he was just going out with the guys, so I ended up moping around the house doing dinner by myself. By the time he got home, I was just an emotional mess and all the frustration I've been holding in with him working late and not wanting to talk about work got brought out. Plus the stress of TTC and not having any idea what my body is doing this month. Grrrr.
I understand that he comes home from a stressful day of work and doesn't really want to talk about it, but since that's really all he has going on right now, he basically ends up not talking to me much all night. Which can feel kinda lonely.
