For those of you who have done this I have a question.
When you make freezer meals do you include meals that have veggies? Like a stew or soup where you used fresh veggies.
Also what kind of meals have you made that you found work well doing this? And what have you found that wasn't as good?
Re: Freezer Meals
If you're making a casserole with fresh veggies just bake it before you freeze it, then thaw it in your fridge and bake to heat up. If it's a crock pot meal I just throw the veggies in, uncooked and freeze it. Although to be honest, since you're going to freeze the veggies anyways I usually don't use fresh veggies, I use frozen instead.
For casseroles I find items that are saucier, like a lasagna, are better frozen and reheated. For crock pot meals there's usually some liquid in there already so it's not as big of a deal.
