May 2012 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I know I'm being a post whore today but it's so boring at work today and I have nothing to do.
When you decide you want to take a trip somewhere, do you use a certain website to help you book hotels or things to do? If so what website?
Or for those who don't use travel sites how do you plan your trips?
Re: Traveling
I go to Kayak which compares all of the major travel sites, then I always check the hotel out on Trip Advisor, or another site to make sure it's okay. I've also heard that you can call some hotel chains and they'll beat the online price, although I've never tried it.
If we don't care exactly where we stay we'll go to one of the travel sites where we can bid and try to get a room for as cheap as we can.
