NGPMR: husband's 30th birthday
DH turns 30 the first week of November and I'm struggling what to do for his birthday. I want it to be special for him since it is his last birthday since LO comes.
He loves college football, the mets, history, movies, beer, music and just overall hanging out with friends.
Any thoughts? I'm at a loss since I will be the only sober one of the group. Lol

When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.
Baby Boy M - 08/01/2013
Nothing exciting, but he's going to really lay off going to see bands once the baby comes so he's getting in as many shows as possible.
I have asked him on numerous occasions what he wants to do and the answer keeps changing. We've gone from doing something small at the house to a Penn State game to a Flyers game in a luxury box ($3600... Not including food. Not happening) to going drinking in Philly. Not sure what the real answer is.
I'm leaning towards a big dinner with friends and going to a Flyers game (non-luxury box).
5 cats. 1 baby.
It may be the hormones. But I am PISSED. I really want to plan this for DH and I feel like once again she's trying to pull the rug from under me.
She doesn't want to do anything sports-related (which is what he wants). She wants to take the party bus to bars locally in our town. Most of the bars in our town (minus the casino) are dives.
ETA: the luxury box is astronomically expensive and doesn't include food/booze. If it did, I probably would look at it a little more closely.
