  • Rich and I had a moment of weakness and adopted 2 puppies (3 months I think), luckily we were in a trial adoption and we were able to return them to the foster. We underestimated taking care of a puppy that age. Two or one we would have had to return either way.
I agree that it was a bad decision on our part. But I'm thankful that we were able to return them to the same foster. She ended up adopting both puppies for her kids.
  • What exactly is the point of starting this poll?

Because if it bothers people I will stop posting pictures of her here
  • I must have missed something.

I remember the puppies from a few months ago, but didn't even know there was a new one.

IUI - BFP! Baby boy born still - August 2012
    IVF - BFP - miscarriage June 2013
    FET - BFN
    FET - BFN
    Switched clinics
IVF with PGD - three embryos created, all healthy - July 2014
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
    Baby Boy born July 2015

  • In all fairness, it wasn't a "moment of weakness" it was multiple posts about the puppies and preparing for the puppies and hey look at my new puppies, and then a post 5 days later about how you can't handle them. You even had people here say, wow, two puppies are a lot of responsibility are you sure you want to do that?

The fact remains that those puppies needed a home and you brought them in to yours and then sent them back. The only redeeming part of this story is that they were able to be returned and did find forever homes.

  • This post is so freaking strange. It's like you want to be shit on.

This is where I'm at too. Look, we all make mistakes. What's done is done and I really think we should stop beating this dead horse.
  • ....but what lilies is saying is that BEB is the one stirring this pot. No one started a post calling her out. She is asking to have this discussed....in two posts now. One form of asking less direct than the other, but still asking.

Maybe it's a masochism thing. If so...

    GIFS NO WORKY FOR ME.

  • No, I understand. I said collective "we" suggesting BEB needs to stop bringing it up and really, we should stop engaging. No matter how many times we all voice our opinions and no matter how much brow-beating is done, we can't turn back the hands of time to have a re-do of the initial situation. :shrugs: I was just agreeing with lillies that this whole thing is odd. Why continually bring it up to a bunch of people who clearly disagree with the way you handled a previous situation? And why care so much about what other people think? odd.

tried to paragraph that last post but clearly my phone had other plans. :-P

  • This is completely ridiculous. Did you post this hoping someone would be the white knight and defend your irresponsibility? You keep saying "I know it was a bad decision" so why make a new post just to hear again what a bad decision it was?

callitcompulsive is right about dropping it but I am so irritated by the blatant disregard here.
